Sport, exercise and the arts

Recreational activities can often be a barrier for people with disabilities. Children and young adults with behavioural diagnoses, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) may benefit from structured recreational programs.

Dr Gaj can work with your local providers to facilitate inclusive and enjoyable recreation. This might include discussions with coaches, teachers and arts groups. He takes a wholistic view, which includes provision of the right equipment, consideration of costs, accessibility and the wider benefits of participating in community-based activity.
